How to Add Permanent Maintenance Notes for Resident Work Orders

How to Add Permanent Maintenance Notes for Resident Work Orders

Sometimes, residents may want to add permanent notes to their profile that they always want maintenance to remember/follow. For example, wearing shoe covers in the home. There is a way in Yardi to add these notes to the resident's profile so that they appear on every work order that is created for them moving forward! Below is how-

In CRM-
Go to the resident's profile > select the Lease Info tab on the left-hand side > Other Info tab. On this page, enter the notes in the Maintenance Notes field > Click Save.

In Voyager-
Go to the resident's profile > select the Other Info tab. On this page, click Edit > enter the notes in the Maintenance Notes field > Click Save.

These notes will appear at the bottom of the work order each time one is created for this resident! The notes are visible in the work order view and on the printed version.
