How to Reset Lease Charges in CRM
From time to time, lease charges may be added or modified at the property level. (For example, your property now charges wifi/cable where it previously did not.)
When this happens, the charges automatically appear for any new applicant/move-in created in the system moving forward. However, any existing applicant or future move-in that was in the system before the lease charge update will not automatically have this information. We will need to update or reset their charges in order to see them populate for the lease.
This can be done in CRM on step #2 of the Manage Lease process. You will know if charges need to be update or not depending on if you see the Reset button or not. This button only appears if/when charges on this screen do not include the most up to date version.
To update, click the Reset button and the click OK on the next pop-up. After this, the update charge line/amount will appear, and you can proceed with creating the lease.
